Contract triage
before your lawyer's invoice.

Every NDA, MSA, vendor AI addendum, DPA, and OSS license your business signs — triaged in 90 seconds. Flagged clauses, plain-language explanation, recommended pushback. Then send the vetted draft to your attorney with your notes baked in.

No credit card required for the trial. Cancel anytime.
The problem

Every contract is a 4-day, $400 decision.

When a vendor sends a 30-page MSA two days before you wanted to close the deal, you either ship it to your lawyer (and wait, and pay), or you sign without reading carefully and hope. Both options are bad.

The lawyer path

$300-500 for a contract review. Four to seven days of back-and-forth. Your deal goes cold while you wait for the redline pass.

The "I'll skim it" path

You sign without spotting the clause that lets the vendor train AI on your customer data. You discover it six months later. You can't unsign.

The Google-it path

You ask ChatGPT to "review my contract" and get generic, unverifiable text that misses the things that actually matter for your specific business.

What you get

Five contract triages, one $49 subscription.

Every Legal Review type is a structured triage built from the same templates your lawyer would use. Every output ends with "draft for attorney review" — never legal advice.

01

NDA review

Mutual or one-way. Flags imbalanced terms, vague-scope traps, indefinite duration clauses, and the "no residuals" language that's often the real issue. Comes with recommended pushback wording.

02

Vendor agreement / MSA review

Master Services Agreements, vendor SOWs, software licenses. Flags liability caps, indemnification gaps, IP clauses, termination/payment terms, change-of-control, audit rights.

03

Vendor AI terms review

The 12-category deep version of the free scan. Training-on-data, output liability, model change rights, subprocessors, IP indemnity, data residency, audit, human review. Multi-page memo.

04

DPA review (Data Processing Agreement)

GDPR / CCPA / state-law data agreements. Flags processor vs. controller roles, sub-processor flow-down, breach notification timelines, international transfer mechanisms.

05

OSS license review

For when your team's about to ship code with a dependency you didn't check. Identifies copyleft contagion risk, attribution gaps, patent retaliation clauses, license-incompatibility traps.

Pricing

$49 a month. One saved bad clause pays for the year.

Annual is $490 — two months free. Cancel any time, no penalty. If your triage volume exceeds 50 reviews/month, talk to us about the Team tier.

Draft for attorney review — never legal advice. LoadBear Legal Review is a triage tool. Every output is an AI-generated first pass to help you spot issues and ask better questions, not a substitute for a lawyer. Don't sign, send, or rely on anything LoadBear produces without a licensed attorney reviewing it first. LoadBear and its AI providers don't take professional responsibility for the contents of any review — you do, and your attorney does after you bring it to them.
FAQ

Quick answers.

Is this legal advice?
No. It's contract triage. Every output is framed as a draft for attorney review and is meant to help you spot issues and ask better questions, not substitute for the lawyer. We say this on every review output and we mean it.
Why not just use ChatGPT?
ChatGPT will summarize your contract; it won't apply structured triage criteria across all the clauses that experienced contract attorneys check. LoadBear's reviews are built from the same skill templates Anthropic open-sourced for legal practitioners. The outputs are structured, severity-coded, and consistent across reviews — so you can ask your lawyer "this said training-on-data is a 🔴 — is that right?" and get a useful answer.
What if my lawyer disagrees with the triage?
Your lawyer wins. Always. LoadBear's triage is meant to make the lawyer's review faster and your questions sharper — not to replace it. If your lawyer says "actually that clause is fine," they're right.
How does the attorney handoff work?
Every triaged contract gets a "Send to attorney" button that bundles the original document, the LoadBear triage memo, and any notes you added into a single PDF. Email it to your attorney directly, or use the email-out feature from your LoadBear workspace. Pro tier (coming soon) adds a vetted-attorney marketplace if you don't have a lawyer yet.
Does LoadBear see my contracts?
Your contract text is encrypted at rest in your workspace. Per-user privacy means even your workspace owner can't read your Legal Review history unless you share it with them. Anthropic processes the content for the review itself (per their API terms); we don't train on or store anything beyond your own workspace.
Can I just try the free scan first?
Yes — the AI-clause scan is free, no signup, no credit card. It's a narrower version of the full Vendor AI Terms review. If it flags something, the full Legal Review will give you the deeper version.
